I read that gen beta baby name article and was shocked to see my daughter's name at the top of the list of names trending. And to think we thought we picked something unique lol. Also, can't wait to try that Merit sunscreen -- thanks for the rec! Did you find the shade tough to pick?
i have seen my sons name in a few similar lists and felt the same way haha. thought I was going niche and obscure, jokes on me! also no! they have a shade finder on their website that can help match based on your shade for the foundation stick which is helpful!
“What a blessing it is to be tired, in the pursuit of a challenge of your own choosing.” I will be chanting this to myself until our 10week old puppy stops teething and waking us up 2 times a night!! 😅
I loved parable of the sower, my second Octavia butler book. When I first read it, I thought it was released recently and then when I realized it was written in the 90s 🫠😫
I enjoyed reading your material until you’re making it all political. I can appreciate your stance and also want good people who want a fresh start and freedom in our country however, not all immigrants in our country are good people, but criminals doing harm to people who live in the US. It’s just not black and white.
hi! I'm guessing you're new(ish) here and I'm glad you left this comment so I can be extremely clear! I do not believe that advocating for the dignity and rights of immigrants is not a political stance - it's a moral stance, and one I won't apologize for.
If we want to talk facts: numerous studies show that immigrants (both documented and undocumented) are less likely to commit crimes than native born citizens - this is true for both violent and non-violent crimes, and holds true at national, state, county, and neighborhood levels. (Source: https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/debunking-myth-immigrants-and-crime).
Framing conversations about immigration exclusively through the lens of criminality is harmful, misleading and plays into stereotypes. The overwhelming majority of immigrants are here through legal means to build better lives, contribute meaningfully, and seek safety. My goal, as a direct beneficiary of the work visa to legal resident to citizen process is to advocate against the increasing violence and lack of due process.
I got shade 24 and have been super happy with it! Usually use the stick in shade “dune” - that’s one I usually only use from special occasions or if I’m breaking out / have dark marks 👍🏼

Sounds good!
Just curious which color Merit tinted spf you use? I have a similar skin color as yours. Do you also use the Merit stick with it or no? Thanks!
