I'm so glad! thinking I'll make it a "camp with me" style post so it's a little more specific, so hoping to get that done in a few weeks once it warms up in Seattle!
mostly, yes-- we like knowing that we have a dedicated spot, especially if we are going to be driving to get there. we definitely have just winged it a few times and just make sure to do research on other sites in the area - quite a few places in national parks are so popular than the reservable ones will be taken, and then it's just first come first serve so you need to be ready to jump in at the time haha
That makes sense. I don’t have much luck on weekends with the first-come-first-served sites, and I don’t plan early enough to snag the reservable sites 😂. Sometimes cancellations work in my favor though. Thanks for the info!
