yay I'm so glad! I always think it will be harder than it is and I think i just need to get myself to sit down and record more often! do you like the Q&A format or are there other formats you'd be interested in?
One big thing I have found with maintaining friendships is to just show up. Meaning, when an invite goes through, you do your best to show up to it. If you care about that person and they are making an effort to host, you should try to be there. This includes baby showers, funerals, game nights, etc.
Love sculpt society workouts so much. Truly the only app that I’ve been able to stick to. Maggie which style workouts from TSS did you love and find super effective? ❤️
yes! I did TSS fairly consistently from mid- 2020 all the way through my pregnancy and postpartum and for sure think it contributed to overall fitness and improvements in functional fitness. I usually did the intermediate to advanced programs -- i liked knowing which workouts to do when -- and found that the combination of the full body + the dance cardio workouts consistently really did the most in terms of overall strength, fitness and body composition!
Listened throughout the morning. As a very anxious host, I appreciated the question and the resources around meals. I’ll be looking into the nothing fancy cookbook. Honestly still not maybe for me 😂 but for a friend who likes to host. I don’t know if I’ll ever be that person.
The conversation around postpartum (and the question itself) was very moving. I’m nearly 5 years out from my son’s birth and I continue to do a lot of repair around how I was to myself in those early months (if I’m more honest, years). Meeting ourselves where we are at always seems to be the path through…or the one that results in less scratches all over our psyche.
Loved the pod format! Can’t wait for more
